Important: 2026 CMAS Testing Schedule & Information
The Colorado Measures of Academic Success (CMAS) are end-of-year tests that help students and parents understand if students are on track to meet the expectations of college and careers. Score reports show how students are doing compared to the school, district and state. The testing window is April 6-24, opening the day our students return from Spring Break.
Testing Schedule and Expectations
Review our CMAS Schedule below to see exactly when your child will be taking CMAS. To support your child and minimize missed instruction from makeup testing:
Ensure your child arrives at school on time.
Avoid scheduling appointments or vacations on your child’s designated testing days.
Electronic Device Policy
All personal electronic devices are strictly prohibited in testing rooms. To maintain standardized test environments and the validity of these tests, students are asked to turn off and turn in their devices (phones, smart watches, etc.) before each session begins.
The Role of State Assessments
Results help schools know how to improve learning and the community can see how well schools are serving students. For more details on why these assessments matter, visit the DPS CMAS Website.
Parent Excusals/Opt Outs
While student participation is highly encouraged, parents may choose to excuse their child from testing. To allow our staff time to plan, please complete any excusals via the DPS Parent Portal by Feb 27. Instructions are available at the bottom of this DPS CMAS Website.
