Oakland was personally invited to join the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club Annual March for Peace! Please read this letter below for more information about the event.
When? June 1st, 10am. Registration starts at 9:30am.
I trust this letter finds you in good spirits. My name is Nashara Ellerbee, and | am writing to extend an invitation to you and your esteemed institution on behalf of myself and my fellow peer, Naja’Ray West.
For the past 11 years, Naja’Ray and | have been dedicated members of the Denver Broncos Boys & Girls Club, where we have had the privilege of engaging in various community service initiatives. One such endeavor is our annual event, the March for Peace, which we have been organizing since 2020. The March for Peace holds deep significance for us, serving as a beacon of hope and unity within our Montbello community. As we approach the culmination of our time at the Boys & Girls Club and prepare to embark on new journeys, we are determined to make this year’s March for Peace the most impactful yet.
In light of this, we would be honored to have you and your school join us in this inspiring event. The March for Peace is not just a walk; it is a testament to the strength and resilience of our community. We invite you to walk alongside us, demonstrating your commitment to fostering positivity and unity within Montbello.
Furthermore, we encourage your students to seize this opportunity for volunteer community service hours. Participation in the 5k walk/run is free of charge, and it presents an excellent opportunity for students to contribute to a meaningful cause while earning valuable service hours. As part of the event, we invite your school to design a banner or poster representing your institution, showcasing your school spirit and commitment to our community. Additionally, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy complimentary refreshments and explore the Pop-Up Shop featuring products from local small businesses, available for purchase
The March for Peace will also include various engaging sessions on mental health, fashion, nutrition, and poetry writing, providing a platform for learning and empowerment. We sincerely hope that you and your students will join us for this memorable occasion, as we come together to celebrate our community and spread a message of peace and positivity.
Thank you for considering our invitation. We eagerly anticipate your participation and look forward to celebrating with you at the March for Peace.
Warm regards,
Nashara Ellerbee & Naja’Ray West
