Healthy School Meals for All

Dear Oakland Families,

Please complete the You Benefit! form for the 2023-24 school year. By completing the form, you will help us access all available funds to cover the cost of meals, and other nutritional programs for students.

• Families who fill out the You Benefit! form may qualify to receive discounted school fees, class materials, bus passes, utilities support and more!
• All household income information provided through this form is strictly confidential and protected by law. Only one form is required for all children in the household.

Immigration, migrant, citizenship or refugee status is not required when completing the form.

ALL students receiving a school meal will need to enter in their Student ID number.

• Students who bring a sack lunch from home and decide they would like a school lunch, they are welcome to have a meal at no charge (free). The meal must include a fruit or vegetable (may take both) and an entree including a grain. Milk is always optional but can be included as well.
• Fees apply for the following:
  • If a student brings their lunch from home and would like to purchase milk, the charge is $0.75.
  • If a student would like to add to their home lunch, they are welcome  to our Fruit & Vegetable bar for $1.00.
  • If a student would like to purchase a second meal, main entree, milk  or grain an additional fee will be charged (pricing will be coming  soon).
  • The cafeteria will also be providing a la carte items for students to  purchase in the fall that are Smart Snack approved. Pricing  information coming soon.
