When you’re not teaching, what do you like to do? Spend time with my 3 adult children, my parents, and niece and nephew, lift weights, sing, trying to learn guitar. Love all outdoorsy activities.
What is your favorite thing about being a part of the Oakland family? I love that when I started here 8 years ago it was in turn around and I got to be a part of watching the school go from red to green on the SPF. I love the people I work with who always work to find what best serves our students and I love being a part each and every one of our student’s lives.
What is the best part about being a teacher/educator/support staff? Building relationships with students and their families and watching kids grow and learn. I love seeing the pride in students faces when they learn something new.
