I was born and grew up in Lima-Peru. I moved to Denver in 2003 with my two children. I have been in the field of education for the last twenty-seven years. Undergraduate at Women University of Lima – Peru, where I received my Bachelor Degree in Elementary Education, Masters of Counseling for the Family from The Complutense University of Madrid (Spain), Masters in Educational Leadership from Regis University, and Masters in Instructional and Cultural Leadership. National Principals Academy, RELAY Graduate School of Education.
My passion has always been education. I work at Oakland Elementary since 2014, when Oakland re-open its doors after closing twice. It is truly a privilege to be part of the Oakland family, where families, teachers and learners care for each other.
When I am not working, I love to hike, cook, knit, make desserts, travel and read every day. I am bilingual, I speak English and Spanish, and I am learning French.
