I was born and raised in Chicago, IL. I have a bachelor’s degree in Special Education (K-12) and an endorsement in Early Childhood Special Education. I taught for 2 years in Chicago working with students with moderate disabilities in a pull-out model. I moved to Denver in 2017 and have been working at Oakland ever since! Currently, I am a special education teacher for students with mild-moderate disabilities in an inclusive model. In addition, I am the Senior Team Lead for our special education department.
My hobbies include hiking, reading, and trying new restaurants with my friends. I also love houseplants and collecting new ones to take care of!
