Greetings! My name is Su Florczak. I am a School Psychologist and I am currently on special assignment working as a Therapeutic Service Provider. I provide individual and group mental health services to students and I collaborate with teachers, families, and community agencies in providing whole-child support. In addition, I also enjoy sharing the practice of mindfulness with staff and students.
I attended the University of Florida for my undergraduate degree and I went to graduate school at the University of Colorado. My undergraduate Degree was a BA in Anthropology and in graduate school I earned an Ed.S. Degree in School Psychology.
I was born in New Jersey. I have lived in Colorado for almost 20 years.
When I am not here at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my three dogs. I enjoy hiking, traveling, cycling, mountain biking, and reading. This is my first year here at Oakland Elementary and over the past few months I have enjoyed being part of such a wonderful community. My most favorite part of Oakland is all of the kindness that is shared in our community! I am so grateful for our amazing students!
